Oral Practices Parents Should Observe and Teach Their Children – St. Augustine, FL

There is no such thing as too early when it comes to oral health care. Do know that even before a child is born, their primary teeth are already present beneath the gums. That is why dental associations highly encourage parents to clean their baby’s mouth even before a tooth erupts. It is best done using a clean, damp cloth or gauze to wipe the gums gently. If a tooth does emerge (usually on the sixth month), their first ever dental visit should be scheduled.

Since children are still too young to understand the importance of oral health care, it is the responsibility of parents to teach them little by little.
