Bert Tavary, DDS is Dedicated to Giving the Dental Care You Need
A Texas native, Dr. Tavary was lured to Florida by the call of the ocean. Today, he has been serving the various dental needs of our community and the surrounding areas for over 35 years! If you’d like to learn more about his educational background and skillset, just keep reading below.
What is Your Favorite Part of Being a Dentist?
Dr. Tavary loves that his team members feel just like family – they’re fantastic to work with every day! His patients are wonderful as well, and he considers it a true joy to care for their smiles and help them achieve the health and happiness they deserve.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Tavary’s college career started at the University of Florida, where he pursued his undergraduate degree. He then served as a Crew Chief in the U.S. Navy Blue Angels before attending Emory University College of Dentistry, graduating in 1980 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Today, he makes every effort to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies, including lasers. He has completed a Mini-Implant residency through the Florida Dental Congress and is certified in Branemark Implant Restorations. He’s also been certified in BOTOX and dermal fillers through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Tavary and his wife Lisa have four children and two dogs. Their very first grandchild is due in the summer of 2020! As for personal hobbies, he enjoys surfing, playing volleyball on the beach, doing high-intensity physical training, fishing, boating, participating in Spartan Obstacle Racing, and, most of all, hanging out with his family.
